Our portfolio
We believe Europe’s middle market offers a robust opportunity set. We aim to source underperforming, undermanaged and distressed investment opportunities, build and grow programs, provide gap funding and resolve issues that impair value. Over the years, we have successfully repositioned a number of investments using our active asset management expertise to enhance value and exit to a well-established universe of global institutional buyers.

Named one of the most influential women in European real estate, the Benson Elliot co-founder brought to the firm a career of high achievement and a fierce determination to build a market-leading business. Her style set an imprint on the ethos of the firm, embedding a culture of tolerance, openness, camaraderie, competitive spirit and resiliency—a spirit that remains today.
In 2023 a series of talks, the Chapman Barrigan Lectures, were established to honor Trish’s memory and celebrate female leadership in real estate.
