Our Communities

MetLife plays an important role in caring for our communities. Our regions, lines of business and colleagues contribute to community engagement and outreach, and our MetLife Foundation helps connect MetLife colleagues with nonprofits and opportunities to make a difference.

We also encourage a culture of year-round volunteering. Colleagues across all regions and departments lend their time, talent and passion for their communities to educational, business- building, environmental, mentoring, coaching, skills-based and pro-bono initiatives.

Skills-Based & Pro Bono Volunteering:

• MetLife Skills for Impact: MetLife volunteers share business skills with MetLife Foundation grant recipients, helping the grantees establish operational processes, create financial modeling tools and develop an earned revenue model for a community focused program.
• ADAPT Startup Accelerator: MetLife colleagues in the U.S. and Latin America mentored founders participating in the ADAPT startup accelerator, helping founders refine their business assumptions and plans.
